Sister Judith (pictured above, center in blue) enjoyed a surprise reunion with St. Scholastica Academy, Chicago alumnae
Sister Judith Zonsius, OSB walked into a restaurant for an Archdiocesan luncheon and heard shouts of "Sister Judith!" from another room. They were coming from alumnae of St. Scholastica Academy, Chicago who were celebrating a baby shower for Erin Cafferkey '06. A number of young alumnae were in attendance and were thrilled to reconnect with Sister Judith.
Sister Judith thought it would be nice to invite the Cardinal who was attending the luncheon in the other room to bless Erin's pregnancy. With Erin's permission, Sister Judith says, "I summoned my courage...and asked Cardinal Cupich if he'd mind going over to the other room and blessing Erin...." Cardinal Cupich graciously joined the baby shower and blessed Erin and her baby that is due this week. Join the Sisters in sending prayers of blessing for Erin and her baby!
