Supporters create memorable 21st Annual Testimonial Dinner

Lights twinkled on tables and smiles graced the faces of those who attended the 21st Annual Testimonial Dinner on Wednesday, June 10th. The annual event, held at the Park Ridge Country Club, benefits the elderly sisters and ministries of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Mary Ann Ahern, NBC Chicago's Political Reporter. She kicked off the evening with a vibrant speech, sharing her pride in being a Catholic and her affection for women religious. She proclaimed that at work she has earned the nickname "Sister Mary Ann" because she covers so much Catholic news.

Later, Mary Ann was joined by Sister Patricia Crowley to hand out the awards. Sister Patricia Cielinski, Alicia and Mickey Resnick, and the Hallagan family were all recipients this year as the Benedictines honored their lives of service.

From the moment cocktail hour started to the rousing raffle at the end, the night was an incredibly fun event. We, the sisters, are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated or helped make the evening such a success.
